Cybersecurity Analyst

Baronmentrx is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our digital infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing best practices for risk management.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Monitor & analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in real-time
✅ Conduct risk assessments & penetration testing to identify potential security gaps
✅ Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security
✅ Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices
✅ Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOC 2, etc.)
✅ Conduct security awareness training for employees to minimize risks
✅ Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure architectures & threat mitigation strategies
✅ Investigate and respond to cyber incidents, breaches, and forensic analysis

Qualifications & Skills

🔹 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
🔹 Experience in cybersecurity operations, risk management, or IT security
🔹 Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and access control
🔹 Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and security frameworks
🔹 Understanding of ethical hacking, penetration testing, and malware analysis
🔹 Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+, or equivalent are a plus
🔹 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
🔹 Ability to respond quickly and effectively to security threats
